Happy Hour
Location: Gingerbread Man, Carlisle
Time: 4-6:30 PM

We kick off our 30th High School Reunion with a quick gathering at the Gingerbread Man starting at 4pm Friday. We plan to meet at the tables just inside and to the left as you walk in. Don’t get to comfy though as the football game starts at 7pm that same evening.
Football Game
Location: Carlisle High School Stadium
Time: 7 - 9:30 PM
Cost: Ticket Price
Come join the crowd to cheer on the Bison’s when they play the Chambersburg Trojans. Kickoff is at 7PM and we plan to have a section reserved especially for the Class of 1981! Look for a large sign or familiar faces once you get there!
We are working on getting group ticket sales so be sure to indicate on your registration form if you want to be included in our head count. We’ll get back to you if this works out and will let you know how to acquire the tickets.
After Game Bonfire
Location: 925 Petersburg Rd. Carlisle PA 17015
Time: Directly after the football game – (10 PM - midnight timeframe)
Cost: FREE
Kelly (Bear) Hart and her husband, Scott would like to host a bonfire directly after the football game at their home in Boiling Springs. This is an informal gathering so bring your lawn chair and beverage of choice and we’ll do the rest. The location is on 925 Petersburg Road, Carlisle 17015 and is between Mt. Holly Springs and Boiling Springs, directly across from the South Middleton Township Buildings. We are working on parking at the Township Building and will have signs posted to assist you that night. Please contact one of the committee members for more detailed directions. Please indicate on the registration form if you are interested in participating in this event so we can plan accordingly.

High School Tour

The Amazing (Un) Race through Downtown Carlisle
Starting point: The Carlisle Vault, 1 N Hanover Street, Carlisle, PA 17013
Starting time: 11-noon Saturday October 15, 2011 – not really a race so finish at your own pace.
Cost: FREE
When was the last time you walked through downtown Carlisle? Well if it’s been a while, you’re really going to like this event. Pick up the clue to your first location from the committee team who will be seated in front of the Vault from 11am to noon to start you on an exciting time of exploring beautiful Downtown Carlisle. Just like our Homecoming reunion weekends, do as much or as little as you would like. Take your time and visit the local Downtown Carlisle shops and restaurants. We are working on fun prizes for those who finish the (Un) Race! Prizes will be handed out at the reunion party Saturday night! Please indicate on the registration form if you are interested in participating in this event so we can plan accordingly.
Golf Outing
Location: Mayapple Golf Club, Carlisle PA 17013
Time: 9 AM start
Cost: $35.00 per person - payable day of to Mayapple Golf Club
As in the past, we are hosting a golf outing for classmates, their family and friends. Mayapple Golf Club is under new ownership and has improved the course. We are working on some great prizes for the outing and may have an organized lunch depending upon how many golfers we have. The cost is $35.00 per golfer. We encourage you to bring family and friends into your group, as this is a fun day of golf and camaraderie for everyone. Please indicate on the registration form if you are interested in participating in this event so we can plan accordingly.
CHS Class of 1981, 30th Reunion Party
Location: The Carlisle Vault, 1 North Hanover Street, Carlisle (www.CarlisleVault.com)
Time: 6-7 Registration and Social Hour / 7-8:30 food / Dancing 8:30 -11:30
Cost: $25 per person
Come join your classmates to share stories old and new at the CHS Class of 81, 30th Reunion Party! The venue is the newly renovated Bank, a 200-year-old bank just off the square of Downtown Carlisle. Some of you will remember it as the Commonwealth National Bank. Heavy Hors d’oeuvres and deserts are on the menu, along with beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages. A DJ will provide music and entertainment.
A videographer is working with us to put together a fun picture show of our past reunions. We are looking for pictures from anyone who may have them from the past reunions. The 5th and 10th are especially needed since that was before digital took off. Please contact Kelly (Bear) Hart if you have some pictures you would like to share. Please don’t make us use Dan Hunters again!

Join us on Sunday for a great way to wrap up a fun weekend with your fellow classmates. Roll out of bed and head downtown to the Courthouse Commons coffee house where we will be saying so long to those that must travel back home. This is an informal gathering for the morning, so if you’re up for it, come on in for a cup of Joe and the closing activity of our 30th reunion Homecoming weekend.

The Comfort Suites has reserved 15 rooms for us at a reduced rate of $125.00 per night. Please contact the hotel directly for your reservations. Please tell them the Group Name is CHS Class of 81. The hotel is just a block away from The Carlisle Vault so no driving will be necessary for you if you choose to stay downtown. Please feel free to reserve hotel rooms anywhere in Carlisle, the committee just wanted to offer the closest one to the 30th Reunion Party for convenience.
Donations
We’ve had few donations for our 30th reunion weekend and we could use more! Cash, door prizes, golf prizes – anything you may be able to send will be greatly appreciated.
The Carlisle Vault cost is $1,500 for Saturday evening and we’ve gotten 2 cash donations to help with that expense so far. If you would like to kick in a little something to help defer the costs for this fun weekend, that would be great! Expenses are up for everything so every penny counts. We are doing our due diligence, working with the caterer to picking a menu within our budget, so getting a few donations will allow us more flexibility in the menu planning as well as boost a few of the other activities we have planned.
Have a business?? How about donating something. Could be anything from cash to hats for the golf tournament. The more donations we get the more fun we can have with door prizes at the reunion party Saturday night. Be creative and generous! We’ll be sure to recognize your company in the reunion party program.

We could use some help! We have various needs from marketing the golf outing to making signs for the football game. Below are just some of the areas we could use help with. If you have expertise in a particular area, we encourage you to get involved! The more people we have, the less work it is for one person/committee so please consider lending a hand in making our 30th reunion the best yet!

The more cash donations that are received, the better the “PARTY”, whoops, REUNION. A simple $25.00 donation will go a long way in ensuring the success of the reunion. We need door prizes. Pictures wanted! We are looking for pictures of past reunion parties. We have a solid collection of our 20th & 25th but have little on the 5, 10 and 15 year reunions. Please dig through your picture boxes (we all have one) and see if you can find a few from these reunions. Please contact a reunion committee member if you have pictures to contribute.
